biz-eWomen.com’s Terms and Conditions of Use

TERMS FOR biz-eWomen.com:

Biz-eWomen provides a forum for specialty and unique business and service providers.  The biz-eWomen.com website will be used to locate local resources, acquire business leads, form strategic alliances, mentor and teach, intern and learn the skills that small and home-based entrepreneurs need to succeed in owning and operating their own business. Providers that are listed are listings only and not recommendations.  biz-eWomen.com does not guarantee the information about these providers nor do we license, endorse, or recommend any of these providers.  It is up to the individual to interview and evaluate each product, service or provider they choose.

We ask that you read the terms and conditions of our site and that you fulfill the following requirements to list your business in our directory:

  • Valid Business License - biz-eWomen requires that each small or home-based business have all of the required licenses and insurance to perform the business functions that it is undertaking.

  • No customer complaints or filings with the Better Business Bureau.

  • We only provide services for any product/services that are not objectionable to family use - including children.

  • List integrity – biz-eWomen does not rent or sell our lists.  We respect the privacy of our members, we ask that our members respect each other. 

  • biz-eWomen reserves the right to remove anyone from our list who does not follow the guidelines as outlined above.  biz-eWomen is an online promotion and networking organization whose mission is to help women in a supportive manner.

  • Must be over 18 to list on biz-eWomen.com.

We reserve the right to display/include sponsor promotional material including banner advertising within each page of biz-eWomen.com.  We reserve the right to rescind/terminate any link through a plain-text link or any other type of link, and to require termination of any such link to any of the biz-eWomen Sites, at our discretion at any time.  Upon termination and if appropriate a refund will be granted for the duration of the unused service term. 

USE OF SITE
PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING TERMS AND CONDITIONS RELATING TO YOUR USE OF THIS SITE CAREFULLY. By using this site, you are deemed to have agreed to these terms and conditions of use. We reserve the right to modify them at any time. You should check these terms and conditions periodically for changes. By using this site after we post any changes to these terms and conditions, you agree to accept those changes, whether or not you have reviewed them. If at any time you choose not to accept these terms and conditions of use, please do not use this site.

Scope of Terms and Conditions
These terms and conditions apply to your use of all of the sites and services owned or operated by biz-eWomen.  Unless otherwise noted, all references to the biz-eWomen Sites in these terms and conditions include all such sites. These terms and conditions do not apply to your use of unaffiliated sites to which any of the biz-eWomen Sites only links.

Restrictions on Use of Materials
The contents of this site are protected by copyright and trademark laws, and are the property of biz-eWomen and any other owners. Unless we say otherwise, you may access the materials located within the biz-eWomen Sites only for your personal use. This means you may download one copy of posted materials on a single computer for personal, noncommercial home use only, so long as you neither change nor delete any author attribution, trademark, legend or copyright notice. When you download copyrighted material you do not obtain any ownership rights in that material. You may not modify, copy, publish, display, transmit, adapt or in any way exploit the content of the biz-eWomen Sites. Only if you obtain prior written consent from us -- and from all other entities with an interest in the relevant intellectual property -- may you publish, display or commercially exploit any material from the biz-eWomen Sites. We do not endorse or take responsibility for the contents, advertising, products or other materials made available through any other site. Under no circumstances will we be held responsible or liable, directly or indirectly, for any loss or damage that is caused or alleged to have been caused to you in connection with your use of, or reliance on, any content, goods or services available on any other site. We control and operate this site from our offices in the United States of America. We do not represent that materials on the site are appropriate or available for use in other locations. These terms will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York, without regard to any principles of conflicts of law. This is the entire agreement between you and Biz-eWomen relating to the subject matter it contains. Biz-eWomen's Online Privacy Policy
We are committed to protecting the privacy and security of the users of our sites. Privacy of Children
Biz-eWomen protects the rights of children and we make every attempt tol safeguards and protect the privacy of our users. We realize that they may not understand all the provisions of our policy or be able to make thoughtful decisions about the choices that are made available to our adult users. We urge all parents to participate in their children's exploration of the Internet and any online services, and to teach their children about protecting their personal information while online. The Biz-eWomen Sites are not directed to children under the age of 13.  Biz-eWomen knowingly will not collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. Note to Parents. Non-Personal Identification Information And The Use Of Cookie Technology
We do not collect non-personal identification information through the use of "cookie" technology and/or IP address tracking.

Users will find advertising or other contents on our sites that link to the sites and services of our partners, suppliers, advertisers, sponsors, licensors and other third parties. In many cases, the links represent cooperative projects or are mutual links established with persons or entities connected with our sites. Although we initially visit the sites or services that are so linked, we do not control the content or links that appear on these sites. In addition, these sites or services, including their contents and links, may be constantly changing. These sites and services may have their own privacy policies and customer service policies, or no policy (policies) at all. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third party sites or services before providing any of them with your personal information.
